FAQ

When was Buck Warrior Enterprises, LLC., founded?

Buck Warrior was founded December 27, 2013.

When was Buck Powder first created?

Captain Ron started experimenting in December 2002.  The final formula was perfected in September 2010.

Why was Buck Powder created?

Captain Ron initially created Buck Powder to attract deer because he was frustrated with the results he was getting with existing products, especially the lack of daytime photos.  Once the attractant was perfected, Captain Ron started working on making Buck Powder into a meal replacement powder for deer.   The goal was to create an attractant that would also help deer grow as big and healthy as possible.

Why does Buck Powder come in jugs instead of bags?

The packaging allows for a longer shelf life and for Buck Powder to have more fat than it could if it were sold in bags.  More fat not only makes Buck Powder taste better, but provides energy deer need to grow.

How many pictures does Captain Ron get on his game cameras using Buck Powder and ME2?

Captain Ron uses 5 gallons of Buck Powder and 2.5 gallons of ME2 every 3 months per camera on 1-3 cameras; and averages over 100,000 daytime photos of free range deer in a year.

What does ME2 mean?

ME2 (pronounced “me too”) stands for Mineral and Essential Elements.  We call it “2” because it was originally designed as a companion to Buck Powder.

When was ME2 first created?

Experimenting began in spring 2003 and the final formula was perfected in August 2015.

Why was ME2 developed?

ME2 was designed to be an irresistible mineral attractant.  It is specifically formulated to maximize antler growth.

Is there an advantage to using Buck Powder and ME2 together?

Yes! Buck Powder is formulated to help deer grow big and healthy, and healthy deer produce bigger antlers.  ME2 is designed to provide the exact nutrients deer need for antler growth.  Both help attract deer and taste great to deer.

Can I give Buck Powder and ME2 to livestock?

Buck Powder and ME2 are formulated to meet the nutritional needs of deer and may not be suitable for livestock.  For example, sheep can not metabolize copper as well as deer, and Buck Powder and ME2 may be harmful to sheep.

Can I eat Buck Powder or ME2?

It is not recommended for human consumption.

If I eat Buck Powder or ME2, will I grow antlers?

No.  Please do not try.
